Quiet Retreat

I’m a travel nurse and have enjoyed 6 months at the park. Sue and Nick, the owners are amazing hosts and have became friends. First let me say the park is a peaceful place to relax on my days off. There are several full time residents as well as transient campers, but it is never noisy. The park has all the amenities you could need. There are bathhouses that are clean and a laundry facility (2 washer, 2 dryer $1.50 and $1.00 respectively). also there is a pool and hot tub. The sites are wide and level. We came in late at night and Sue was happy to accommodate us. The entrance hill is rather steep but we had no issue with our 38’ rig. There is also a back way to exit if needed. The park is very shaded which is wonderful in the TX heat and the plants are beautiful. I love watching the hummingbirds and swallows. There are also resident cats who mind their own business and do not bother anything. (I’m not really a cat person) The cabins for rent seem cute! I would stay here again!!!
