Do not let the description fool you. This park is neither quiet nor serene. It might as well be in the median of I-10. It is very continuously noisy and the train sounds like it goes right through the park when it comes by blowing its horn. Only one of 4 shower/bathroom combos was operational during my 2 night stay. I paid $126.50 total, upfront. And all the waterfront sites appear to be full-timers and there's no access to the water unless you have one of those sites as they back up directly to the lake on the only accessible side.

Bad Experience
Booked online around 3:30 Sunday afternoon and booking service texted Hidden Lake would confirm once they determined a vacancy. Called HL direct and got answering machine. After 6 pm now and no call or text confirmation. Had to use a different park that confirmed a vacancy. Hope Hidden lake doesn't try to charge a cancelation fee.

Overnight
Needed a spot for the night while traveling through Texas. Called ahead and got a spot. The GPS on here was a little off but we found it. Clean Rv park minutes off I-10. Rv spots were well spaced and level. Full hookups. Friendly staff. Noise from I-10 could be heard throughout the night but wasn’t an issue for us. Seems like a good spot in the area right next to Fords arena.

Great Place
An excellent place to stay. The manager were very helpful. The grounds looked perfect. I arrived three days after the a flood and the grounds were clean, very organized. I would recommend staying there.

Easy off and on. Don't go here after a heavy rain or the lake is no longer hidden. Our assigned site was flooded and the electric didn't work. Luckily there was one more site available Very noisy. Just there one night.
