We are staying at Pickwick Dam Campground. We wanted to give the state park a drive threw and that was enough to see we won’t be staying there. Sights are not level narrow and some are short. The water tables and some electrical hookups are just randomly placed, the place needs lots of update. The shower house looked new. We did see 2 sight that would work. Forced to give it 1 star

Choose Your Spot Carefully
The park is very nice with lots to do. The lodge, restaurant, swimming areas, and marina are all great things to go see and do. We walked the two mile hiking trail, and it was clearly marked with decent views of the lake. The campground, however, is a little neglected. Many of the spots are narrow, unlevel, and obstructed by tree roots. We chose poorly. We were unable to get level with as many of our wood blocks, Anderson levelers, and ingenuity that we could muster. We wound up having to abandon our spot and go to an adjacent campground.

Nice Campground
We just stayed here the first week of December and had the place totally to ourselves so this review is limited. Bathrooms and showers are new as well as playground. Several level spots with adjacent areas for hanging out. Site 33 is great. Near lots of history an good dining.
