We stayed on 12/26/22 as an overnight on our way to AL. Only campers here. We stayed in Pull Through site #45 with just electricity for the night. Walked the campground the next day. All sites are asphalt, most in decent to really good shape; some not so great due to crumbling and root intrusion. A mix of somewhat flat and variable inclines. DO NOT reserve #44 due to a large slope - just saying. Sites are just older but overall not bad. Showers were locked but bathrooms were nice - seems to be an upgraded building so I'm sure showers are decent. Easy to find and easy to get in and out of our site (but it was Pull Through). Experienced tow drivers would not have an issue, newer tow drivers might, especially driving past rhe check in gate - you can see where it's been clipped entering and leaving

State Park.
Clean and friendly. Nice shady camp sites. Quite, clean showers and restrooms.
The lake is a short walk down from the camping area. Not very friendly carrying kayaks down and back up from lake. Need a carrying rack with wheels, for us older people.
Over all a great place to stay.

Nice campground, except for the camp sites. If you're bringing a camper, or RV, bring you jacks or leveling blocks. Most of the sites are paved, but slanted in every direction.
Nice wooded area to camp but not connected to the lake
