The park recently reopened after damage due to flooding in 2019. All the sites have been redone with crushed stone surfacing, and we didn't see any that were far from level. The staff was excellent, and the general store is stocked with most of the essentials. We stayed here when plans at an adjacent state park fell through, and we could not be happier with the outcome. There is only water and electric. No sewer. However, they do offer a honeywagon service for $20.

Nice campground. Plenty of shade in sections A&B. Great fishing below the dam. The paper mill across the river can get a bit noisy, but not too bad.

Boat Accessible Campsites Added
RRM, who runs the campground for TVA, is widening some of the campsites so campers have room to park their boats beside their camper. Very good addition for folks that camp here to fish
