Loved everything about this place ☺️ There were lots for my kids to do such as miniature golf and a playground. The remote location is close enough to everything, but still feels secluded. There is a little gift shop and restaurant on site. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the wifi is pretty bad, which we needed to find our next campsite. Even still, I would definitely stay here again.

Great Place
Highly recommend this place, great view and easy to find, our GPS took us right to it. Had to pay extra for more than 2 people. Bathrooms and shower house was very clean. Well taken care of and everyone was nice and friendly.

Great Place in a great location
We loved staying here. Had one tent site reserved, then moved to the other side, across from the toilet trailer, because site had more shade. Staff was very accommodating. It's quiet and has grassy spots. During the day you'll have some bikes and ATV's go by though. Tent sites were very roomy. We have a 15x15 tent and could have set up at least 4 of these tents. Would definitely come back here!!

Remote Getaway
Nice park in remote mountain setting with good amenities. Caveats...pricey laundry 2.25 each machine, limited to no cellular connection and wifi is spotty, sites are not level. Good place if you don't need to be in touch with anyone. They would not refund my last night due to this issue since I work from my camper.

Absolutely
Very convenient to everything. Practically in Custer State Park, on Iron Mountain Hwy. stayed 3 nights and it was the perfect base camp. Drove Needles Hwy one day, came back to eat and rest, then went out to Wildlife road in the evening. Great space for kids too. They have their own uphill trail with great views up top. Camper spaces are narrow but when they’re not full they stagger them so you have lots of space. I’d recommend.

We ended up staying here because the parks in Custer were full, but are so glad we did! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The spots were roomy and partially shaded. There was a pool and even mini golf and so much room for kids to run and play. The drive to Mt Rushmore was beautiful and easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice clean park with lots of grass. Very large sites, some trees. It would be nice if the trees actually provided shade for the RV row. They are mostly for the tent camping along the creek. No dog run even tho they have plenty of space to provide a nice one like the KOAs do. Sites are very unlevel, be prepared. Location is great for a hike right from the park to the top of a ridge for your first binocular view of Mt. Rushmore. Scenic road 16A is just outside the park and beautiful.

Great Place To Stay
We've stayed here for the last 5 years for the Sturgis rally. Love the location (once you find it ) love the owners and the piece & quiet! Its located in the heart of the Blackhills.
