Bretey's From Texas
Came in the week before Buffalo roundup weekend. Only by chance did we get in for 2 nights and as luck would have it they found us an extra 2 nights from a cancelation. Thanks Jean, Stephanie, Alex, Amanda, Marjy and Ruth. Second time to this park and they have not ceased to amaze us. Real family oriented. Very hospitable. They are even talking about putting in more sites on north side of office. We love this area and don't want to stay anywhere else when we are around here. Thanks again.

Really beautiful, spaced well a real vacation to stay! The staff was super and the system for reservations was easy! We enjoyed our 6 days and was not as expensive as some of the other camps.

Someday It Will Be Great
This was an odd one. First they ask you to over night in their parking lot if you arrive after 9 pm and wait for an 8 am escort. The pools are under construction. the bathrooms are under construction. The area is extremely dark so don’t go walking to the toilet in the night. Also we couldn’t locate the trash cans or dumpsters and they weren’t on the map. That all said sites were level and dry. Nice new fire pits and old falling apart tables. The finished bathrooms were very nice. Laundry room looked nice too. Playground needed updating. Big rig sites were well laid out for easy in/out. All sites appeared to be pull through. GOOD SAM PARK.

All Most Awesome
The place is surrounded by great views of the black hills, close to town, but not too close. Very clean, the bathrooms and showers are better than our home...it was, wow clean nice big...did I mention clean. Every one who worked there was friendly and helpful...except the lady who was checking people into the resort. She was rude and very unhelpful. If she had her way no one would stay there and she wouldn't have to deal with customers, their stupid questions, (like can we stay here for the night, etc.) or people being around her. Since you have to meet her to check in I'm glad the rest was just amazing.

Beautiful Park
Big, beautiful, well maintained resort park with large grassy sites, very convenient to downtown Custer and all the Black Hills attractions. Quiet location. They are expanding and doing more improvements. Very friendly helpful staff. They were actively working on construction while we were here. The pool complex wasn’t available yet but will be beautiful. Roads are wide and easy to navigate with a big rig. The roads and landing pads had been recently surfaced with a material that got very muddy when it rained. We complained and one of the co-owners contacted us to apologize and let us know the surface will be amended as part of the ongoing improvements. Seems customer satisfaction is important to them. We would stay here again after the road surfaces are improved.

Bretey's From Texas
Made a reservation from Dubois, WY.
Didn't know what to expect, but when we drove in it was over and above what we expected. Yes there is some construction going on, but they are adding new sites. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful RV park. Close to crazy horse and my Rushmore. Laundry and shower rooms are great. Will definitely stay again.

Summer Trip
Staying here for 6 days and everything is excellent. New bathhouses, pull thru at the back and new.. could use a little more leveling at the large sites but can be used without hard work. They only problem has been the construction going on. Sometimes hard to get in and out because if the pavement going down and all the equipment..a lot of area being redone and new sites made. When completed will be worth a 7 star !!!

Sucks
RV site looked like a lumpy grass patch. Couldn’t get RV leveled. Would not recommend this RV Park

Nice,but needs more bath houses!
This campground has nice, grassy, scenic spots.it has a lot of space to accommodate many campers. The workers, checking us in, were nice & friendly. My complaint is that, they have far too little bathroom facilities. Also, the bath house floor was filthy with dirt! There was 1 bath house, with 6 bathrooms, too far away for tent campers,to have to walk late at night. They had an outdoor toilet close, but it was so close to another campsite, that I felt I would be disturbing the tent camper, nearby to use it,early in the morning or late at night. Also I underestimated how far this place is to many of the blackhill attractions.

Big Park
Lots of space with new private bathrooms and more being built. They moved into a new registration building with a store the first night we were here. Site are kind of tight and they have community firepits. Lots of cabins to rent, tent areas and group camping. Park has plans to build even more amenities including a new pool. There is also a musical show. This park is close to all of the tourist areas.

Great place
Great place pool was heated with solar only so it was chilly. The shower house is the best I have seen, there are several individual bathrooms that have a shower, sink, and toilet. Private and very clean! The staff were all great. Hookups were all good. Level spots with good drainage.
