Full Timer
All pull thru, big rig friendly, didn't use the restrooms. A little bit of road noise. Hermosa has a great Pop's Grocery Store.

Great location! Easy to get to Rapid City, Sturgis, Deadwood, Mount Rushmore, the Badlands and Wall Drug. No frills, nice level sites with FHU. They do not raise their rates during the Sturgis rally or peak season.

Great Choice
30day stay! Fantastic. Owners are full time Rv’ers and you can tell by the park. Spacious, clean, concrete pad at every site. Plenty of room. Park is close to Custer State Park, Mr Rushmore. With out the tourist packed area. Would recommend park for overnight, weekly or monthly.

Loved Our Stay Here
Good sites, enough room for a big rig getting in and out. Sites are level and very maintained! Close to Mt Rushmore, Custer state park, hot springs, cave wind park. I loved being outside of rapid city but still close to everything. And, roys drive in theater is next door if you want to go to the movies!

Near To Custer State Park
We spent four nights here and used it as our base to explore Mt. Rushmore, Rapid City, and Custer State Park. We accidentally planned to be in town during the Sturgis Bike Rally but we're relieved this park was just far enough away from everything that we weren't impacted.
If you like staying in parks with a lot of amenities or near the "heart of it all," this place isn't for you. But if you want well maintained grounds, friendly staff, and low fees, this is a good little park.
Eveything is gravel (some spots do have a small green plot) and easy hookups. There's a bar and grill within walking distance (4-9pm), a drive in movie theater, and a pizza restaurant just down the road. Otherwise, be prepared to drive 20+ minutes.

Great Park
Since the beginning of 2017 this 30 site park has under new ownership. The new owners are RVers and it shows. The roads are packed with gravel as are the level sites with plenty of room for large rigs to maneuver. The sites themselves are spacious and thankfully oriented so that the patio has afternoon shade. All RV sites have full hook ups with 20/30/50 amp service. The owners are very hands on with upkeep and have two campground hosts to help out, so there is always someone available if needed. The bathrooms, showers and laundry are very clean and well maintained. Satellite view is old and does not do the park justice. We came for 2 weeks and discovered that the location was perfect for exploring the Black Hills, so we stayed a month.
