Great Location
Small campground with paved sites and electric hookups. Sites are decently spaced but not super private (lack vegetation between), but still very nice. Bathroom clean with showers. Water spigot near bathroom. Dump and water fill 7mi down road at Game Lodge. Verizon cell service 3bars 4G and fast enough to stream videos. Across street is store and restaurant with outdoor/indoor seating with an amazing view of lake. Numerous trails, including Centennial, are accessible. Lots of wildlife, including bison and deer, visited. Camp hosts welcoming and friendly.

Excellent Campground
Small campground, great location for touring the southern Black Hills and Wind Cave. Nice lake across the road with kayak rentals, gift shop and restaurant. Custer is only 7 miles with groceries, gas, and wonderful eating places.

Like A Nat'l Park Without The Crowds
Love this park! Not too crowded and a variety of nice campgrounds. Legion lake is small and not too private except a few spots at the end in the cul de sac but very clean and we had a bison visitor which made it very worthwhile. There's a little restaurant near the lake right across the street and a few trails. You can rent kayaks too! The showers and bathrooms are super clean.

Love this park. Fun fishing with deer turkeys elk and buffalo. Able to stand quietly
50 yards from campsite and watch coyotes walk through. Deer didn't seem to be bothered by them.
