We are solely a MA/PA establishment. We have 11 cabins and 11 RV sites all nestled on 8 Acres. We have been voted one of the best campgrounds in Custer, SD.

From Down town Custer, drive east on Mt Rushmore Road heading towards Custer State Park. We are on top of the hill on the left hand side.

Mostly cabins for rent. Had about 9 sites, but only a couple had full hook ups. If you are too big, might want to check other campgrounds as it is hard to maneuver through camping area. If you have pets, they are to be on a leash all the time. There is no dog run for dogs. There is a decent dog park about a mile away in Custer. We didn’t use their facilities, so can’t speak to them. Proprietors were friendly. They do not offer discounts for Good Sam or military, but will give 5% off for cash. Is about 20 miles from Mt Rushmore.
Reply from owner/manager: Hi Don, I am a little confused by your 3 stars as it doesn't really align with your stay. I keep rigs limited to 35 feet as maneuvering can be a challenge for some folks. This is stated on our website. Yes, you are correct, pets are to be leashed as is common practice for most parks. We do not offer a dog run, there is one located about a mile away. I do not offer Good Sam or Military because I am already 5.00 cheaper per night then all the other parks around me. I have equal cabins to RV sites so I am split 50/50. Sorry, I just don't see the things you mentioned as being a negative mark against my park. Hopefully you will find a park more suitable for you next time. Safe travels.

Cozy RV Park
We stayed 5 days and had a great time. Hosts are very friendly and the park is quiet, clean and well-manicured. Bathrooms and showers were always clean and well stocked. And our view was perfect; we saw deer every night. And dont forget to say hello to their pet pig! We would definitely stay again.

Stayed for five nights, really enjoyed it. Only 11 sites and only two big enough for our 39’ 5th wheel, but it fit great. Will definitely try to stay again!
