More Than Impressed
I'll start off with the normal review stuff. The park is beautiful and impeccably cared for. Laundry facilities are clean and up to date. We loved the fact that we could launch our kayaks right here & spend the day exploring the water. 100% recommend!
Our favorite part of this park is BY FAR the camp host Randy. Our Autistic son took to him from the second we arrived. We stayed a week and there were no other kids here. Randy took it upon himself to come visit our son and take him on golf cart rides multiple times a day. They even have a handshake they do at the end of the ride when he drops him back off. Thank you so much for making this part of our adventure so fun for our guy 🖤

Clean Wide Paved Pads, Good Quality WiFi
After a few days in a rundown state park Mckinleys was a welcome break. Large clean pad, full hookups. My only issue is they charge for the shower and showers a really small so you have to get dressed in a wet area and the main bathroom door didn't close so it was cold.
Winter rate $40.

Pros And Cons
Pros: Nice level spots with great views friendly grounds crew. It’s close to grocery and hardware stores but I thought a little high priced. We stayed here a month as that is what we reserved
Lots of Crab in the bay. Recommend Grand Central pizza in town good stuff.
Good wifi
Cons: the woman running the office is a real detriment to the park pretty crabby. They say they have a marina and boat launch yes but only at high tide. You can try up to there dock alright but better raise your motor as your boat will be setting in the mud at low tide. That is why you only crab for three hours as the water goes away. They have a nice rubber bumper for there boats but not for the
rest of the dock. The Hardware store is a real head shaker over priced and if you want a bag that’s

another nickel if you complain they get snotty fast. A good place to stay away from imo
I was told by two people the monthly rate goes away for 2021 $55 a night

A Treat
We normally boondock, but were looking to hunker down someplace with wifi, cable and services for the weekend. This was a treat for us and if not for the cost, would certainly stay here again. $40 a night. Staff were VERY pleasant. Washrooms, showers and laundry facilities were more than adequate. Sites are all level cement pads, adequate width, nicely landscaped, with options for pull through and back in.

Nice size spots and great view but we would never recommend this park or stay there again because of the rudeness of the staff. The most innocent of inquiries resulted in irritated/sarcastic responses; therefore, we took our crabbing, and camping money elsewhere.

Nice Place
Nice place, clean bathrooms. Showers are 1.00 for 4 minutes, quarters only. Dry sites on the river are pleasant.

Dry Camp Sites Right On The River
We stayed just one night here but wished we could have stayed more. They were booked for the hook up sites, so we went with a dry camp spot and are we glad we did! The site backs right up to the river! We saw bald eagles, seals, and otters out on the river. The view was spectacular. We hope we get the chance to come again.

Obnoxious people run this place. Also they charge by the minute for showers.
