This is exactly what I love in a campground. Sites are spacious and private and there is a 1/2 mile trail to the beach. We planned to stay overnight and stayed 5 days. We will definitely be back!

Love This State Park
We don’t like to make reservations for camp grounds, we just like to see what the day brings and camp where we can. We drove by this site and got lucky they had a space available. The camp hosts and staff were great, and the spaces are very private. On this road trip we stayed at 6 different camp grounds, but this by far was our favorite. Try the trail to the beach- fantastic.

We stayed at this campground 6/13 thru 6/16/2018. Great place and so pretty!! The camp hosts were very friendly and informative.
Gave it 4 stars would of gave 5 but at that time they were having a rash of burglaries. We had our gas can stolen right of our bike carrier. Other campers had more expensive stuff stolen.
Hope they caught this fool. Totally ruining the reputation of this beautiful park.
Would go back to stay!!

A River Runs Thru It
Pretty little park with lots of trees and bushes. Beach trail from the park is just 1/2 mile. Creek runs right through the park. Very rainy in mis-March, but still very nice. The only thing you can reserve are the yurts, but it wasn't too full when we got there mid-week. Good price for full hookups.

Needs RV Reservations
Great park, but a bummer because its so good and popular that you can get turned away even off-peak. You can't plan for it, and in summer, there may not be anywhere else close-by to go. This is a no-brainer 5 star except for this.

Heaven On Earth
WOW what an amazing state park! Very clean hot showers cozy private sites. My favorite is the hobbit trails and the easy beech access trail. I will stay here every chance I get!
