Good if you don't have pets

Park area is beautiful, but we had dogs and couldn't visit the falls. Lack of dumpsters is a deal breaker. I am elderly and carrying trash to the entrance and having to place it in the compactor myself is a bit too much. I noticed a lot of people storing it at their campsite. Also I was not expecting to have to carry firewood bundles so far. In other places the host delivers firewood. It was very difficult , so I 'll be sure to bring a cart if I ever go again. There is very little privacy between most of the campsites and some campers let their dogs off leash in their campsites. Some people! The purpose of poop bags is to carry it to a receptical, NOT to leave it beside the trail, if they even pick it up.

Great place to stay, big sites and quiet in the winter

Fantastic State Park. Spacious camp sites, plenty of waterfalls. Well kept trails.

Amazing Park And Hikes

This is definitely one of our favorite places to camp! Very private and woodsy, amazing hiking, great playground, creek to play in, and a big field. Nice bathrooms and free showers.

What A Find!!! Poor Wi-Fi Though

This park is so beautiful!!! The whole campground is littered with trees and greenery. The spaces are super private and tucked away. There are a million hikes and trailed near by. WHAT A GEM!!!! The only downside is our Verizon Wi-Fi did not work there. We had to go into town to work for a little bit. However, this would not stop me from going there again!!

Excellent Little Campground

Great set up and hook ups for RVs. Clean bathrooms and showers. Fantastic hiking and biking trails. Some trails are no dogs so pay attention, rangers and staff can be a little fanatical about dogs being on leash, which is fine with us.

Very nice campground quite and the sites are large and some what private. There is no phone but it's only a mile walk to the cafe where you can use there wifi for free. Lots of trails to hike so bring good shoes.

So Lucky To Get A Spot!

This is an awesome park. Lots of shade, yet sunny grassy spots too. Level, spacious, fairly private with trees/shrubs between sites. There is a creek meandering through the campground as well.. There are many hiking trails of varying lengths and difficulty. The waterfalls are fabulous and there are biking trails, horse trails, and a swimming area. This campground fills up fast and you need a reservation. We got lucky several weeks ago and got a spot that I'm sure was a cancellation. Highly recommend!!

A Real Gem

As with most oregon state parks this campground is a great facility, and a great value. I fulfilled a lifelong dream of getting to walk behind a waterfall like Frodo and Sam. Be sure to visit at least some of the spectacular waterfalls. The full loop is a long walk but some falls are right along the road. The falls are best in the spring when the creeks are high
