Doesn’t Deserve One Star
To the one star review, this was an amazing campground before the fire. People lost their homes and lives due to that fire. I can’t wait for it reopen. We had many good memories here!

This campground is closed for the year, unfortunately due to last year's fire. Just 5 miles West is a jewel of a campground at John Neal Memorial Campground, sites 16, 18-23 on the Santiam River!

Fun, Strange Campground
The campground was very clean and many sites were private. It seems as if it has recently been renovated but you can tell it is an older campground. Some of the sites seemed to be nearly impossible to back a medium sized trailer into. If it were not for COVID, I'm sure it would have been a lot more busy, since all the group sites were closed. Our daughters enjoyed riding their bikes along the many trails and roads snaking throughout. The hosts also had a small scavenger hunt for the kids, which really got them out exploring and having fun.

Camper
This is one of my new favorites! Wonderful, big, spacious camp sites, playgrounds, clean facilities, right on river.

Great Campground
Nice little campground, quite even though it was full. The camp hosts were extremely helpful. Right on the santiam river.

Great Campground
Stayed a few days at this wonderful campground. Beautiful tall trees and river just down a trail. Nice to have showers and bathroom facilities.
