The 2020 fire burned this area. The campground is closed for the 2021 season

Campground is basic with no water so bring your own. There's one pit toilet but it's clean. Sites come with picnic tables and fire rings. Ideal for tent camping. Stayed one night and used it as a base camp for hiking in the Opal Creek area which is about 6 1/2 miles farther up the gravel road to the trail head.
