If you have to stay in Portland this seems to be a safe area. Near marina and well maintained . Downside is pads are close to each other and airplanes pass over frequently

Nice Campground! Rude Staff Overpriced!
Ok so while this maybe one of the best maintained campgrounds in the Portland area it’s about all it has going for it! Kind of a Weird location in the very rundown area of north Portland not to mention lots of traffic! No real Amenities not even a pool or playground area! Very rude overwhelmed staff Customer service is nonexistent! Like most of the campgrounds in Portland half full of long term residents that have spent decades there! Wouldn’t recommend this Campground it lacks Amenities for the price they charge! Plus if I’m going to dish out a Premium for a campsite i don’t want to deal with rude brainless staff!

To Many Full Timers In Portland Now !
ALL Rv campgrounds are California or large corporation owned in Portland now !!!! To many full timers coming here in the summer it overwhelms ALL of the campgrounds here !!!! Unfortunately most all the people that come here are locals that have retired and became snowbirds so they head to Arizona in winter and Portland in summer it sucks for people who come here because they have to for work or to sightsee and enjoy the the city ! All of the campgrounds in Portland are overpriced , overwhelmed , and hire brain dead rude people! There all the same here !!!! As far as the 10 year limit on age or the rampant crime you can’t get away from that ! Like I said there all the same! Keep up your rig and or trade it in before the ten year limit! And lock up your stuff ! Or better yet don’t leave 5 thousand dollar bikes outside! Or even better move on to a different city or head to the country!!! Maybe if they get a break here it will become normal again !!!!!

Not A Good Experience
WiFi was virtually nonexistent. Told at the office it was provided free and not included in the rate yet advertised. Road noise from Marine drive was bad and airplane noise was as well. Laundry equipment was not all functioning and did not seem to care about it. Would not stay again.

Clean, Helpful
Spots are pretty close together and the office doesn’t always answer the phone. Other than that no complaints. The park is well taken care of and the facilities are clean, WiFi works pretty good and the management is very helpful. Would stay here full time if they weren’t so booked up! Will come back.

Really!?!
RV is too old for even a week. Good job Columbia River RV Park for being elitists and so very welcoming. (READ WITH ALL THE SARCASM YOU CAN MUSTER)!

It's Safe
Safe place to stay. Full hookups. Over priced for what it is, but its very close to downtown. No rigs over 15 years old. About 5 miles away from the airport. Planes are pretty loud. We used it as a spot to check out the city. Not really a campground to hangout at.

Extremely Noisy
If you enjoy airplanes, this is the place for you! You’re RIGHT under the flight path! Our site flooded EVERYDAY because the sprinklers come on TWICE a day, even if it’s raining!

Called 4 details about park. I was told my rv is too old( what the hell?? It's a nice clean, well maintained 1996 class A) Talk about a bad business decision.....and we are full timers looking for long term( both of us in our 50's ) What the fuck is wrong with all these parks that get all uppity and think that it's ok to exclude older rv's AND TURN DOWN GOOD LONG TERM MONEY ? That's a great way to turn off EVERYONE! Really now. Does anyone out there mind staying next to an older rv that's in GREAT SHAPE? These assholes made us feel like scum because I'm not rich and can't afford a newer rv. I can't believe what the rv world has turned into! I guess you have to be a rich snob to stay here-and I'm neither so we're not welcome. Don't even waste your time AND MONEY HERE-unless of course you're a rich snotty asshole. Then you will probably fit right in. I am a local resident of this area for 30 years-this is a terrible location. EXTREMELY NOISY-close to airport, freeway, trains !!!!

Be Warned
Last year we stayed there with no problem, no complaints from management. This year, when I called to reserve a space, I was told no RVs older than 2001. When I asked to speak with the manager, they refused. Don't assume any consistency from management or staff. Not impressed.

Convient Location
This is a pleasant looking park. No privacy from neighbors, but generously sized sites. Road and airport noise lessen during the night. Not very central in Portland, but handy for the airport.
