Make Reservations Way In Advice!!!!
Decent campgrounds....over half full of rude long term residents that think they own the space they RENT!!! Most have lived here for not months or years but for decades! Just like most rv campgrounds in the area! Nice area close to Old town Troutdale that’s really nice to look at but that’s about really all it’s good for unless you enjoy overpriced bland tasteless food or high end Beauty salons! The sandy river is nice although be warned!!!!! Portland people or northwest people in general love water!!! Any kind of water! so in summer it’s usually pretty packed! Also there’s an area just off I84 an open parking area and a rest stop/park that Attracts a lot of homeless people doing drugs and roaming around the area including Where the campground is! Tight spaces! Very overpriced!

Fall color changes, river site, walking distance to downtown, just fabulous!

It Was Ok…
This park was pretty and quiet. But it was quiet because you can’t spend anytime outside. It downpoured 2 of the 3 days we were there. The parking slabs are just wide enough to put your rv in, and a little space for the stairs. Then you walk right into the sloppy mess of the grass that separates the slabs. And the only thing you can do is walk on the grass. Cant put a mat down, can’t put chairs out, and can only put a grill temporarily. So we stayed in the whole time.
The park was obviously built years ago so there’s no dog park and not really an area to take them out walking.
On a good note, Troutdale is a beautiful little town and the rv park is super close to parks to walk through when it’s not raining.

Very nice area. Rules are a little strict but doable. River access so that’s nice if not handicapped. Can only stay 21 days per season unless a monthly renter and that seemed strange as they would have had a full summer rental from us. All spots were not booked so didn’t understand the mind set. Forced to move to another location. Love the area. Would recommend but for a long stay get your reservation in early due their quirky rules!

Good Luck Maybe They Have One
Another overpriced overwhelmed Rv park in Portland only it’s beside a river oh no these people love rivers here !!!! So good luck finding a space here if there’s water in summer time and it has an Rv park bye it chances are it’s full !!!!

Great Location
Train was a little noisy but it was livable, nice location for site seeing area. Cement pads with grass, plenty of room on sides, would stay again

Fairly Nice
I have been on the road more or less full time for 11 months. I have seen some parks so rough they should have been called fields. I just came from a park with a port-a-john for a bathroom and dirt and gravel roads with potholes and sparse broken asphalt.
This park is completely paved, has real lawn between spaces and level concrete pads. Utilities are thoughtfully located . Both 30 and 50 amp and cable TV. Its a short walk to downtown Troutdale, several restaurants, pubs and boutiques as well as a park across the street. Also the park has easy access and frontage along the Sandy River.
In my opinion this is a very nice park. Trains and planes are noisy but I sleep just fine. Also it is well off the highway so there is zero road noise.

Clean, well maintained and (reasonably) quiet park. Train and plane noise - but not overwhelming. Have stayed twice - once with a river view and once with a creek view. Loved both spots. Sugarpine restaurant (across the street) is delicious. Lots to see and do. Plan on staying again.

Wrong Location
The map on the app shows this campground near White Salmon, WA when in reality it is near Troutdale/Portland, OR.

Clean And Quiet
Stayed 5 days. Be absolutely sure to use their website directions as there is a narrow bridge and low overpass you may encounter using GPS. Cute and attractive surroundings. Train sounds nearby. Go see the area waterfalls and drive scenic/historic route 30 (without the RV!).

Sandy River Dream
Gave us a AAA discount. Pet friendly and very clean site. They had river access and we had a riverfront view for our RV! Beautiful site and close to shops. We stayed at 103.

Great place to stay
We stayed for three nights and it was a great exprience. Our site was right beside the river and the view was better than expected. The camp was really quiet despite the occasional train sounds. Walking distance to the Historical Society Musemum of Columbia River Highway and the city center of Troutdale. Also, there is a Walmart nearby which is 5min driving distance that really satisfied our stomachs. Overall, it is a highly recommend place which worth the price.

Nice Park / Poor Service
Nice park but the people working here leaves a bad taste in your mouth. No mat Mathilda came along, having a bad day decided to let us have it! Had no idea there was a “no mat rule” and loved finding out by having the staff screaming rules at you without even introducing themselves, ergo no mat Mathilda is what we’ll call her. The dumpsters are in the open so people throwing garbage 24/7 can be heard in Antarctica!! Clunk clunk all night and we were told it was the best spot considering they had a LONG waiting list!! The park is over half empty and the rest being full time residents.
Not much of a RESORT but more of assisted living circumstances considering most license plates here are Oregon and obvious full time residents. Some have rigs that are obviously not working. Dangerous to have this
Considering Oregon is super affordable and living expenses are so low, it’s what vacationers love to visit but just seeing Portland through the lenses of this park is truly heartbreaking.

Good spot
Stayed 3 nights. Friendly office staff phoned before office closed at 6pm to check us in since we had not arrived yet. Level concrete pads close to each other but everyone and their dogs were quiet. Creek is overgrown but enjoyed swimming in Sandy River - shallow, slow current, refreshing on a hot day. Troutdale is interesting and easy access to Portland and Columbia Gorge.

$45 for a pull thru. Clean showers and good WiFi. Level spots. Basketball hoop and small community center with games. Access to river.

This was a nice well kept RV park. The sites are pretty close together, but the people were quiet. Nice, level, cement sites with full hook ups. There was some train and plane noise, but the park was quieter than a "camping" park. I would go back again.

Average Place Yet Expensive
It really depends on what you are looking for in a campground. This one is quite dull in the sense that it's just a very pretty parking lot with well maintained lighting and grass. There is no privacy, no fire pits, no "camping" feel to it. There are a lot of full timers however they are all very week kept! There is laundry facilities however it takes tokens that you have to get from the office. The office seemed to have limited hours despite the hours that are posted online. I had a hard time getting a hold of someone to make a reservation.
The park is right next to a train bridge as well as 2 airports so it does get noisey even at night.
It is centrally located to shops and restaurants and not too far from downtown Portland.
I would go back if it were $10-$15 cheaper.

Nice Clean Rv Park
Large level concrete pads to park with a pad for vehicle. Had a spot right next to the river. Wish the weather had been nicer so we could have enjoyed the view. We didn't use the bathrooms or washroom but I imagine it's just as clean and kept up as the rest of the park. Within walking distance of downtown Troutdale with shopping and restaurants. Only reason for 4 stars was the noise from the trains and airplanes. Might not bother some. Earplugs worked for me at night.

Not bad
Level sites. Sufficiently large. We were in a back-in site in a 34-foot class A, and with the electricity plugged in at full extension, our usual sewer hose was too short. Fortunately we had a second sewer hose that we were able to add on.
Train noise wasn't too bad, but there was quite a bit of airplane noise.
We were next to the "river", and did see a beaver and six Canadian goslings being escorted by their parents.

In spite of the warnings about loud trains, I slept all night without hearing one. We simply needed a spot to spend the night, take showers, do laundry, and plug in on a cold night, so this was perfect.

Nice Place
We spent two nights and really enjoyed the place. The gal in the office was awesome. Our rig is 1995 Damon Intruder and has been turned away simply because of age not looks. This place did both and accepted us with no hassles.
