We just spent three nights at John Bryan State Park in our 31 ft class C. It’s OK but likely better for the many tent camping sites. Sites are large and level but the high heat didn’t help our stay since most sites had no shade. The “rest rooms” are smelly pits...glad we had our own toilet. The staff seemed to be summer help with little or no advice for the area. We choose this for the famed bike trails in Yellow Springs but the trail access is hard to get to riding from the park and very hilly. In our opinion, we wouldn’t return as there are so many nicer places to camp. That being said...and in fairness to the camp, someone with a vehicle besides their motor home and in cooler weather, we would have appreciated the camp more.

For tents campers, it is a lovely campground. For RVers, there are only a few electrical (with no water or sewer, but it does have a dump station) spots and only one of those is a pull through.

Worth Consideration
The mostly level, mostly pull-thru sites are not as close to one another as in other campgrounds. Lots of grass with both sunny and shady sites. Restrooms are not the greatest, but definitely not the worst, either. Very friendly, helpful park staff. Within walking distance of roomy picnic areas and a number of hiking trails. Close to Yellow Springs for eclectic shopping. We'll be back.
