Very Nice
This is a huge park. We had an electric spot with water nearby. The camper’s beach was about 1/2 mile away from our campsite. There was a lovely trail that went near the lake, as well as a nice bird watching area (complete with a blind)!
We will return.

Nice State Park
Stayed one night for $35.50. Electric at the site, potable water close to our particular site, dump station. Sites had a comfortable amount of room. Nice shower house, nice playground, cozy little beach although the blue-green algae problem in Ohio is no fun to watch for! A bit pricey for just electric hookup but we do love state parks! Registering was a pain because the office isn’t open due to Covid, so we had to park by the building and call the number, but the lady who answered was great.

Website Is Impossible To Use
We made a reservation on the website for a 25 foot Airstream . Arrived at the Campground and was sent to the reserved site and it was a Tent site!!! No other sites available for the night( Friday) The website was horrible to use in the first place, It took two hours to get a site booked because the website kept rebooting and now this. We were sent to the main office for a refund and were initially told we had to cancel 24 hours in advance! We finally got a refund from a manager but we were stuck late in the day with no place to stay. This is unacceptable for a State Park!!! We were not allowed to stay in the overflow parking area for one night because of Covid 19. Unbelievable!! A very large open field with NO ONE in it, the ULTIMATE in ‘ Social Distancing’ . We had to drive four hours, late into the evening and stay in a parking lot. Ridiculous!! Worst website ever!!!

This is a beautiful campground. Well maintained. Asphalt pads at all sites. Asphalt roads in very good condition.

Typical State Park
Just passing through and stopped for one night. The grounds were neat and well cared for. Campsites were clean.
One big downer was the bathroom. It was "cleaned" early in the morning. I went in there and discovered the entire restroom was hosed down, ceiling too. You couldn't use the rest room because the toilets were soaked. Even all the stall doors and walls were dripping. Drops of water were falling from the ceiling. Toilet paper that hung out of the dispenser was soaked! The trash cans had water in them. The ELECTRIC hand dryer was SOAKED! And the one thing I noticed was the lack of any sort of cleaning agent smell. So, were the bathroom really cleaned? I think not!
