Simple And Basic
We stayed here a few months ago when my Dad was at the Durham VA. The sites are fairly level with easy in and out access from the interstate. It’s great if you want to explore the night life in Raleigh but don’t want the expense of a hotel. And yes, there are NO amenities. Just full hookups.

Good Central Location
They only have about 100 sites, all back in but mostly level. No gate but they say there is 24 security. It is quiet and pet friendly. Officers are extremely nice and welcoming. Like other posters say it is first come first serve. No frills no thrills but a place to park with full hookup and for 30 that is what i need to do some work and visit with friends. Will comeback

Clean and Cheap
I stayed within the fence of the fairgrounds. The grounds where extremely clean, pretty level, and well maintained. The price to camp is amazing! The security staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Worth the Money!
It’s clean, easy to find, decent full hook ups, good WiFi, grassy and/or gravel flat sites (most of them.) It’s worth the location alone since you’re only minutes from I40. As mentioned in other reviews, the sites are close together but you still have a bit of your own space. It’s about 75% full right now but still good sites available. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent Value
5 stars for what it is: 3 point hookup, $30/day, ease of access, clean and quiet. Good WIFI. No amenities or activities unless the Fair has some event going on. Spots are flat gravel and back in, but driveway is wide and open. Sites are close together though we had no problems with neighbors or sound. Pet friendly.... We'll stay here again... No reservations taken, so get there early or have a backup plan

Quiet, Close To Everything, Great WiFi
Simple campground without a bathhouse. Very quiet and fast WiFi. We stayed 2 weeks and enjoyed the surrounding area. Nothing to write home about, but it’s fine.
