Cramped And Noisy

We found ourselves looking for travel stop by Gallup and thought we would give it a try. There are limited parking spaces around the restaurant and even fewer that could b a bit quieter for a night. There were a couple larger spots in back but there was a travel trailer rig with generator running from extension cord in back of PU. Needless to say we didn't park near him. Rt 40 noise was pretty bad, also train whistles, also the whole area seems seedy with many homeless folks and the trash everywhere is appalling. We do usually try to buy a meal inside and CB breckfast all day doesn't dissapoint. Would not stay again unless I couldn't figure out other options. Oh, and sites were fairly level and very limited access for dog walking.

We ate dinner at the Gallup Cracker Barrel about 6:30 pm. Asked if it was ok to park for the night, they said Yes! We were going to stay at Walmart, but Cracker Barrel was shaded and quieter.
