Nice Stop
Traveling, we needed to make an overnighter. Staff is pleasant, and the faculty are clean. We really did not experience noise from the highway or trains as stated in other reviews. The only reason for just 4 stars is that we are not a fan of close RV camping, although we realize that the setup is from a previous KOA. If coming through this way again, won't hesitate to stay here.

Works For Overnight Stops
The whole grounds are a great big gravel lot without much shade and the spaces are not spacious. The wifi did not reach our site in the back row and the site was not very level. It works fine for an overnight stop.

Great RV Park
Stayed one night. The owners were friendly! Some of the sites were close together and some weren’t. Gravel sites but pretty level. They had WiFi but it wasn’t very strong. The water features was nice and chess game was a nice touch. We would stay again!

Great Stop
Plenty of large, pull-through spots. The carved service statues are kind of cool. They have a BBQ joint at the park. It’s family run, nice, helpful folks. We’d stay again and recommend it to friends. The only less than great thing is that the dog park is relatively small and we have two Australian Shepards. The dog park was clean.

$38 with full hook-ups but without cable, which is available for an extra charge. Clean and well-kept... the folks who work there are very nice, which is always a big plus! We didn't use the bathrooms due to Covid but if like the rest of the facility I'm sure they were clean. Lots of amenities including a pool, covered meeting area, dog park, play area for kids with padded astro turf, small putting green and L.P. gas. It's a bit dated but again, well-maintained. Oh yeah... it's on the famous and historic Route 66 which is kind of cool.

Excellent price, good hook ups, leveled and wide sites. A 4 because there is a lot of poops around, people do not clean after their dogs, and the personnel does do it either!!!

Unbelievable!
Unbelievable! About 100 miles from Gallup, USA RV Park’s billboard caught my eye—“active duty stay free.“ Being active duty military, how can I say no to that? Even after I retire I’ll patronize any park that supports our troops like this! The staff was friendly and welcoming. At check-in they give you a detailed park map with your site number, Wi-Fi password, cable channels, and other pertinent info. The store was amply stocked though I did not try the free-to-campers coffee. My site was clean, small gravel, level (didn’t even have to unhitch the toy hauler), and had great water pressure. The park itself was filled with quiet and respectful campers with only the sound of an occasional small prop aircraft flying over to land at the nearby airport (didn’t hear the interstate traffic). The meticulously detailed wood carvings featured on the website or more magnificent when viewed firsthand! Definitely stop by to support a company that supports our men and women in uniform!

Great Overnight Stop
Nice clean and well run facility. No grass and limited shade spots but sufficient for an overnight stop. We enjoyed the apple crisp and ice cream offered at their barbecue area. Also a nice gift shop. Wide spaces and they space out people so you aren’t right up on one another.

Loud. Heard airplanes taking off at 4am. Spot was level, but our spot had electrical issue when the neighbor next door connected and disconnected his RV. We lost power. Town looked cool but we were there on a Sunday and everything was shut down.

Great Value
Super friendly and attentive staff, reservations recommended as this is a busy place. Gift shop with RV supplies at office. Sites are spacious with utilities that work. Gravel spaces and interior roads are nice when you get the occasional rain. Park facilities are clean and welcoming. Great for the overnighter or longer term visitor. Have stayed twice and would stay again. Cheers

Fun For The Family
Great place with a fun pool and life size chess set for the kids. Very patriotic, clean, easy to pull in and out. Only drawback was the “every other” parking so picnic tables were right next to your neighbors. We missed out on the BBQ the night we stayed but would definitely come back!

We were in route from Santa Fe to the Petrified Forest when we started having car trouble. Since the closest Chevy dealership was in Gallup, we pulled in for an unplanned stop at USA RV Park. They were incredibly sympathetic of our situation and were very gracious. The airport and train noises were definitely noticeable all night, but it was a small price to pay. The park was very clean and the bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained.

Touted as a sister park to Oasis in Amarillo TX. Nothing like the Oasis. We found it crowded but it was acceptable for our overnight stay. Can’t comment on amenities as we only spent night and rolled out early next morning.

Nice Campground
Conveniently located off I40. Grounds are very clean and well spaced. There is plane noise but not enough to disturb your sleep. Virgies is an excellent restaurant just down the road. Many attractions within 2 hours. We chose Chaco Canyon. Scenary was beautiful and different around every corner. Did not make it to the Canyon because the last 20 miles is not what we would consider a road. The campground is all a pink gravel. No grass or dirt to tramp in. $2 extra per night for sewer and cable. We would stay again .

RV Park Under Flight Path
Nice RV park, clean bathrooms, small showers. Sites are very tight with the way the park is layed out. You can reach over to your neighbor and shake their hand. Sites have pebbles, there are few trees and no grass. Wifi seldom works, they charge an extra $2 for cable TV and sewer each.

Perhaps the nicest place in Gallup. Well maintained, neat, clean place, and back has a scenic view of the prairie. Staff are very helpful and accomodating (Thanks, Laura!). Full hookups all work well as does cable tv and a really strong WiFi service. Streets are paved with red gravel sites that are just about level. Sites are close together and peculiarly arranged with headins and backins alternating, making forced socialization in some cases. We visited in a motorhome, with plenty of room to maneuver, and will happily return.

Only stayed one night, super friendly staff, spic and span bath and shower facilities. Plenty of space for slide outs and long RV's. Yes, we heard trains and aiplanes. Since we are both pilots, departing plane noise doesn't bother us, and either do trains. Barely heard the train. We really did appreciate the gated off leash dog area and so did our year old Brittany.

Super Clean
Only stayed one night. Man the bathrooms were spic & span. We did have three low flying small planes in a landing route right over the park after dark and our RV (toward the back of the park) which woke us up the first time, and I barely dozed through the second and third time. I've lived around airports all my life but these smaller planes were darn close-maybe 150' above the RV. We just figured if it was time to go that would be that, and conked out. The park is super clean, laid out well, has a fenced in dog area, garbage cans everywhere, and convenient to the Badlands Grill where we both got a delicious late steak. We'll stay again even with the airport landing strip not far.

Winter
Spent the night at this campground, the front end staff were on top of their game. The toilets are in good order and clean. As for noise, some railroad noise seems that trains coming into Gallup from the west do blow their horn, who knows why? The campground is located at the end of an airport and there is some noise there. We experienced a couple of planes taking off in the early morning hours. My concern was the campground layout. The electrical pedestal has two outlets and the campers come into the site on either side of the pedestal. That means one camper is facing one direction and the other camper is facing the opposite direction. So you open your door and you are facing their front door. Since it was cold when we were there it wasn't a problem, but if you wanted to sit outside your camper you would be looking right at their front side. Just kind of odd, if you didn't want to be that friendly. For 35$ a night with our Good Sam discount it is OK. You get what you pay for

Nice Place
I have stayed here many many times. It gets busy during the day but is generally a quiet place. Although you can hear the low rumble of distant trains, you DO NOT hear them blow their horn. There is no street crossing close so there is no need for them to use their horn. John and his sons and daughter are very nice and accommodating...Although very busy sometimes. They have a nightly BBQ during the warm months and a nice pool and kids area. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean and they have two nice laundry rooms. There are trash cans everywhere and they are emptied every day like clockwork. Very well run campground.
