Great Over Night Stay

My son and I were traveling through. It was easy to get to and easy to drive through and pick a spot. We got in at 10:30 and we found a quick spot by the restroom (which was clean). $30 was not too much for a safe clean place to sleep.

Be warned. Their cancellation policy is the most strict I have ever seen. Less than 30 day cancellation and you forfeit the full camping fee for all nights. On top of that cancellations must be made in writing.

Well maintained. Lots of walking/hiking. Quick getaway from Reno/Sparks.

Great campground, convenient to highway and city. Shady sites. (not always flat) nice hiking trails and clean bathrooms. Honor system. Support your parks. $$
