Great Place For The Money
This is a Scottsbluff city park right along the Platte River. Sites are gravel and pretty level. All have water and power and some have sewer for an additional $5/day. There is a dump station on site. Starting at the campground, there is a nice paved city walking/biking path that goes for miles; a couple of miles of it follow the river, and many more miles go through adjacent neighborhoods and commercial areas. We will stay again if passing through. A train across from the river, but never blows its horn. Lots of tent camping for only $10. All campers have access to the bathroom and showers. Free wifi.

This is a gem! We stayed Fri night in Aug. Great veiw of bluff, walkway to river, pond with fishing. Free wifi, and it was great. Dont believe negative views, usually people trying to pull off something. Police presence on a basis. Great place.

These camp hosts take the cake for being insulting and controlling. They made fun of us for looking at the site first, thinking we were trying to escape payment. The guy chased is down in his buggy, waning his arms and then scolding us for entering the PULL THRU in the wrong direction. He claims he is a different host from the one 2 years ago. It's a funky spit and we're going to stay anyway, but I told them not to treat us that way.

Great little city park. The camp hosts and City must have really done some improvements based on earlier review. The sites are gravel and mostly level. Picnic table and fire ring at each campsite. Tell camp host you want firewood and He’ll bring it to your site (? cost, I didn’t use any). Bathrooms/showers spotless, grass was mown, playground, dog park and zoo at adjoining park. Very friendly. 7 day limit on tents ($10) and 14 day limit on RVs ($20 W/E, $25 FHU) CASH ONLY since it’s a City Park. Only one long-term resident that I noticed, and that was a County Deputy who brought his marked squad car home.....really cut down on any problems in the campground!
Very convenient location and QUIET! Would definitely stay here again! You CAN make reservations. I stayed on a Friday night mid-June and the host told me they only had 4 spots left that weren’t reserved (luckily I had Reservations!)

Riverside Campground
A pleasant, clean, convenient and reasonably priced campground with friendly, helpful people, view of the bluffs, grocery store and other services near by. We spent two nights here enjoying natural wonders of Scotts Bluff and Chimney Rock National Monuments.

Down By The River
This is a bit of bare essentials type campground. Just show up, there are likely spaces available, and there is a pay box. $25 for full hook up.
Lots of folks seem to stay here for longer periods. Sites are sufficient. Trees, picnic tables, fire pits.
With a bit of TLC it could be great.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
