Closing For The pandemic

We stayed for 10 days and were going to stay a few days more, but they are closing the park on Friday, This is off season so I can’t rate the showers, park ranger even sold fire wood to me and delivered it to the site, A lot of. Downed trees in the area, I imagine they’ll be cleaning that up as they have the park closed

Evicted For Snow

Needed a place to wait out a snow storm but was kicked out because they have a hill that my 4WD laughs at. As a winter traveler I count on state parks to plug in and offer refuge during storms, but not this one. Ranger has plow equipment, but evicts everyone except host and closes park when it snows.

Loved this park!

We were traveling to WY, and found this campground just north of Kansas City! Large sites, easy to pull into, Camp host was very helpful, plus we learned a bit of history of the area. Very quiet, hiking trails close by. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Has a nice dog park too!

Great campground. No water or sewer that we saw, but only stayed the one night. Clean and quiet.

Very well kept campsites and a wonderful modern shower house! Nice trails for both hiking and biking. Close access to historic Weston, MO. Enjoyed a fantastic weekend at the camp and in Weston during Weston's Irish Fest the past 3 years!
