Campground is easy off and on the hwy. level concrete pads, several pull thur and back in . Full hookup Great water pressure wifi was strong, no cable . But open sky for satellite TV. Lots of over the air channels, Grass is in between the camp sites are close together. Get to know your neighbors sites. Several trails are nearby to walk or bike. Was very clean, park . Train tracks near, hwy near by both are raised in the air noises. It wasn't bad . We would stay again

Easy location to access from I-70. Friendly staff, very clean and quiet. Good concrete pad. Did not use restrooms or laundry. Stayed one night on way to North Dakota. Would stay again. There is overhead train trestle nearby and some airplane traffic, but did not cause us a problem.

Concrete Pads
Easy access off I370, railfans will love the trains on the high level bridge. Very clean, tidy. Price is above average for comparable, but there is obvious investment in the facilities to offset $. Will come here again

City Camping
We stayed just one night. Very accommodating proprietors. Did not expect to be right in the flight path of the airport and trains going by all the time. The park is very clean and well maintained. No grass, all concrete. Good if you are overnight or plan to visit the city.

Not Bad
Pros
Never used the Wifi but I hear it's pretty good
Quite a few tv channels
Concrete pads and paved roads throughout
Nice sized picnic table
Grass is mowed weekly
Can send receive mail through the office
Right off the Katy Trail and close to MO River
Several parks in the area
Relatively safe area
Long term stays ok
Cons
Pretty pricey for what you get..690 +electric for back in site. Think it's an extra 100 for pull through.
Sites are pretty close together and not quite wide enough for most newer rigs with opposing slides and vehicles to all fit.
Train is loud and can feel vibrations from it but it doesn't blow the horn because it is on an elevated bridge over the river.
Planes are very loud and go by pretty much every few minutes most days.
A few noisy dogs in the neighborhood
No extra parking except a small area across the alley behind the office.
Nicer park with more amenities 5 min away but no long term stays and mosquitoes are bad. Overall this is not a bad park.

Nice clean RV park near St Louis. We weren't City people so we didn't do much in St Louis. This was a stop over while traveling across country. I see complaints on price, but most others in the area are much higher. 10% off for military or Good Sam. Nice staff!

It's All About Location
Here are the pro's & cons:
PRO's:
1) It's all about location with this park. Directly on the Kady Trail & about a mile from downtown St. Charles it's location is ideal.
2) friendly staff
3) concrete sites
4) decent wifi
CON's:
1) Higher rates than other sites in the area but it is all about their location
2) no fire pits
3) sites very small & close together. If you want more campsite space check out Lakeside 370 Campground 10 min down the road.
4) Noisy area (trains, planes & house near back gate with happy dog) not much they can do about that, just sharing info.
5) No cable
OVERALL: average park in great location.

Planes, Trains And Automobiles!!
The gentleman in the office was very helpful and very nice. Everyone in the park we came across was great. They have paved pads that have a picnic table. The shower/bathrooms are clean but not private. The downfalls this site is it is on the edge of town, so you hear traffic. It's also on the flight path of Lambert so that's going on all night and it's very close to an elevated train track...which makes trains louder! Also, this was one of the more expensive places I have stayed. Would give 5 stars except for the noise.

Too costly for area! No cable. No provisions for late arrival. So wi-fi not available until office opens in am. Nice concrete sites.
