Three of us have motor homes we go every year first or second week in October this year especially beautiful colors hiking n biking trails for us n dogs cool evenings great time of year for campfires. Very few people end of season. It is our favorite last trip before retiring motorhomes for the season. I suggest everyone go someplace else

This is a large campground in a HUGE park. Far enough from the cities to know that you are away from home. Close to other more scenic state parks. The reason for a four stars instead of five is just because it isn't on the same level as other state parks like tettogouchi or banning

We came here twice 7 years apart and both times the mosquitoes were really bad even by Minnesota standards. They don't go away during the day either. Park is nice otherwise.

Human

Stayed here once. This is a large park, with many campsites. While we liked the campground, the park in general is still recovering from the effects of a disaterous wind event. Easy access to the St Croix river.
