Pros: nice spacious and well maintained campsites in a beautiful park. Cons: next to a loud train; restrooms were closed on Oct 1st, only primitive toilets. Price: $24 for tent site, plus $7 vehicle entrance.

Great hiking but lacked other recreational activities. Close to train tracks so noise can wake you at night. Clean and well maintained.

Fantastic and Beautiful

This park offers unique and beautiful hiking trails along a rocky, cliff-banked river environment. The campground and facilities are in great condition. This state park is only minutes from the freeway. This is one of my favorite state parks in the state of Minnesota and is also one of the most underrated.
