Closed

Called the state forest service and was told Finland is closed. I don't know for how long or why, but I suspect it's closed due to having to cut down a lot of the trees due to beetle infestation. I suspect that because Eckbeck, just down the road, had been closed for that, and they just opened it after clearing out the diseased trees.

Private Large Sites

Great place near a cute town (grocery, gas, and a few shops). Large sites nicely spaced and private. Lots of foilage. Dry camping first-come/served. Rv water fill and dump stations in Silver Bay and there's a dump station (unsure of water fill) listed on website of Finland Community Center close by. Preferred this place over Eckbeck campground 5 miles down the road.
