I needed a place at the end of summer with only a couple weeks notice so I called here. We came up to visit family for the weekend so a nice, family friendly privately owned campground seemed like a good fit. We were very disappointed.
They have well water with no softening system so even with our RV filter the water was yellow and smelled like rust. Like most campsites you have to buy their firewood, but it's green and/or wet so getting a fire started is impossible. And the "amenities" include a run down playground and a mini golf course that is covered in mildew so it's unusable. I'm not sure what's in the camp store because every time I went there it was closed with a sign that said call a number if you needed something.
Our site was so narrow we couldn't put out our awning and the fire ring/picnic table was at the back of the site. But the worst was the seasonal people who were actually howling at night, when they weren't chanting. But since it was before quiet hours, oh well.

A few paved roads and a dirt road away from the lake. Nice park and staff.
