Overall Nice Koa Campground
This was an overall nice campground. The bath houses are clean with individual locking door bath stalls (showers). They are cleaned from 12-2:00 p.m. everyday which means you cannot take a shower to get ready during this time if you do not have other means. The only negative experience we had was a noise complaint from the 24/7 guard that patrols the sites during the evening hours. We were outside of our camper and holding conversation with a couple we were camping with and from out of nowhere we were told to keep it down from the guard on duty. If you camp and stay up past 11:00 p.m I would advise to keep any and all conversation inside the camper! Park has a small pool and a camp-store with basic necessities...Overall our stay was ok but we will definitely try different camp grounds in the future.

The KOA staff at this location are awesome and you will become friends with the team quickly. Their shuttle to the French Quarter was great and we appreciated the details on landmarks and history along the way. The Showers, washrooms and laundry area are very clean. This was our 2nd visit to this park

NOLA KOA
The location was pretty good for access to everything in New Orleans, about 25 mins away. Fairly quiet park but then an occassional train doesnt bother us. The dog park was just dirt with tons of leaves which did cover the mud but still. I wouldnt take my dogs back. We are here in Jan/Feb so I understand some winter die back but it still feels like a dirty park. They have some pictures showing cement pads and cement street but that is just around the one end of the park and only about 5 sites. Most sites are fairly level and the wifi is excellent. My biggest complaint is the dirt, if you cannot keep grass then keep gravel and enough gravel to cover the dirt. Ask for a site on the outside along the fence, they seem to have more grass.

Nice Location...
Folks were pleasant and location is good. Spots are what you expect in a city. Hookups were solid and sites were level. Facilities were clean and neat. City signage says 'strictly enforced no trucks over 5 ton', then in tiny letters 'RVs ok'...

RVing
A lot of permanent residence. Not a lot of places with grass to walk the dog. People friendly and close to a great bike trail and close to New Orleans.
