Nice Resort Area

First thing it's not at the location given on the ParkAdviser map. It's south, take the first road to the right after Houston Road if heading south on H 77. There are three RV areas, one for long-term residents, a nice one near the water, and the one for over-nighters and short-term; which we were for the night. It's a grassy area with gravel roads and a mixture of pull-through and back-in sites, each with full hook-ups and a concrete pad. WiFi was very good for us with good bandwidth. Staff is very friendly. The Cove restaurant is nearby with good food and a nice view of the sunset. The showers were spacious and modern. There's also a laundry too. The pool was closed in the off season.

A Peaceful Surprise.

We were very surprised by this quiet resort. And that’s what it is. It has a nice restaurant, and many activities. Mainly during the summer, but my wife and I are hikers. So we enjoyed the cool trail throughout the park. We surprised some folks by popping out with our dogs right behind their cabins. But no one was too upset. The RV set ups are modern, and we will probably be back here. It’s really a surprise. Peaceful, well maintained. Lots of trails in forest. The dogs enjoyed it.What we bought an RV for.

I strongly recommend reservations. We arrived a couple hours after the office closed. While sitting in front looking for another RV park, a nice young lady drove up and asked if we wanted to check-in. She reopened the office and gave us space #4 next to the lake. Full hookups for $25/night. Gorgeous park, great staff, dogs welcome, quiet and serene environment. I will be delighted to stay here again. Date: May 11, 2018

Very Nice Place

Park has great amenities with newer bar/restaurant and sites have cement pads and good distance between sites. Lacking trees since newer park on sites since their still really small. Quiet and clean. Highly recommended.
