One app gave this five stars and this app four. They have to be pretty special to be a five star park and this isn’t anything special. We full time and love Corp parks, but not this one. Sites are not level, cramped and not very big for the most part. The views are pretty good. And as all Corp parks that have gone volunteer or unattended, it looks shabby.

Beautiful
We had site #17, however there was no way we’d be able to get our 30’ft Class A with tow in there, it is for a tear drop or maybe a pop up, so the Host was so kind to help us move to site #20, one of the water views. Very happy. There is no shade so you’ll have to use a screen room or shade. Now the pull throughs are all shaded sites #1-5 #5 being a handy cap. Do Not pick sites #39-42 unless you are very patient with leveling. #28/29 and #35/36 look like Buddy sites. We totally enjoyed our stay. Acorn RV Resort is close by they have boat rentals place, also a nice Bar and Grill.

Shady Campground
Small COE with new quad type shower house. Nice new playground equipment. View of lake from all sites and many are lakeside. Some sites are small and some are incredibly difficult/impossible to back in to. 5 pull thru sites are quite nice. Dump station is convenient. Fish cleaning station and boat ramp in park. Shares entrance from highway 77 with Acorns resort. Acorns has rental boats, kayaks, restaurant, rental boat slips, small store. Acorns has RV sites but zero shade.
