Awesome park, beautiful and well maintained... except for the showers. Take some lessons from OK state parks and provide a little hot water and ditch the 15 seconds of water button. Otherwise an awesome park

Great place!
This is our second stay here. Beautiful park with large trees and spacious camp spots. Utilities laid out a bit different..you need to pull in as if parking backwards, then run water/electric under trailer. Self pay is somewhat confusing as posts in front of each spot has a red R which makes you think they might be reserved, but we found they were not.
That being said, this is a really nice park and one of our favorite “go to” places when in the area.

We were here the first week of January and the park is open year round. Great eagle watching. Fishing year round at the spillway. Town is close will many things to do. We will be back

Magnificent
Beautiful trees, great town, we stayed a couple of nights for the eclipse and wish we had more time there. Facilities were great for a state park and I have absolutely no complaints!

Park was clean 5 star, bath house was about a 3 star it could use a good scrubbing mold in the shower stalls but tolerable, close to town, park ranger was very nice. Only negative was generator had to be off at 11 and atv was $50 to ride in park. primitive camping was $10 I would come back
