The camp ground is closed as they are building a storage facility on the property. Owners may have retired or sold the property.

I just called them and number is disconnected. Drive by and no rv park. Guess they permanently closed

Very Unfriendly and Unhelpful

The lady on the phone was very unhelpful. I called to asked if they’d be open in two weeks time and she said “mmm I don’t take reservations and I don’t know. Depends on the weather.” Wasn’t willing to give us information about other open parks and just hung right up.

Terribly Unfriendly and Unhelpful

It’s the off-season so we realize that some places will be closed but every other campground we’ve stopped at or called has been incredibly helpful, pointing us in the right direction and just been super friendly. Not this place. The lady was so rude, telling us she had no information and couldn’t help and to get off the property. She even stood and watched until we were completely off the premises. I found her manner so off-putting that I can’t imagine why anyone would do business here. Best steer clear and find someone who would actually welcome your hard earned money and treat you with respect.

Bad customer service

Nice place. They don't take reservations. First come first served. No credit card. Cash or check for payment. No wi-fi. Didn't use and I am not sure if they even have rest rooms and showers. Back-in lots are a little tight for big rigs but tree shaded. Mrs. Tomes is a very nice lady. Jim, who runs the place is very helpful. Great place to stay in Omaha area.

Old But Nice

Mrs. Tomes comes across as a little grouchy, but once you get to know her she is quite the chatter box. It's the only campground I use when I visit Council Bluffs, haven't used the cg's at Lake manawa or casino. She doesn't take reservations, if there's a site available it's yours for as long as you want it during the season, closes in the winter. It's pricey at $34.00 per day, all sites are back in, no cable, no wifi.

Lady was grumpy. Must be a perquisite for the job.
