Construction Update
The FAMCAMP, Boat House, and Pavilion were damaged in the 2019 flood. Construction has started to replace the facilities. Access to the East side of the property is restricted by construction fencing. Anyone using the Base Lake area should stay out of the fenced area for safety. We hope to reopen Base Lake facilities in 2023.

U.S. Navy Retired
We're there in June 2017. We were warmly welcomed by the Camp Host since we had arrived after 6pm. The campground was clean and very well kept. The staff in the office were pleasant and very helpful. We totally enjoyed our stay at Offutt until on the last Friday we were there and an EF1 tornado made it's way through the base and campground. Power was out, trees were down, port-o-lets were in the lake. The base deemed the campground unsafe and everyone was told to leave so we packed up and left. Three of us found a small campground about 30 miles north so we were able to finish out our vacation. We are planning another trip to Omaha in September 2018 so I can attend my 50 Year high school reunion.
