Beach access is $4/person extra per day! Sites are huge and all concrete. No shade! Shower house is HOT in the full sun. Gate code may or may not be emailed to you and you better hope it’s not pouring AND camping host isn’t gone when you arrive or else you’re locked out if you don’t have the gate code. Concrete gets super hot. Long road to and from campsite around the lake that is not kept well with large cracks and holes. A bumpy ride until you get into campground or off state park property. The entrance also indicates road closed but it isn’t actually closed. Wildlife: rabbits, deer, seagulls and hemp growing along path to beach. Grass is prickly and sparse. Playground noise was incredible and boat/jet-ski noise was surprisingly loud. Overall, ok but not the best camping experience.

Stayed here for 6 days while moving. Great place to stay. Plenty of room. Big concrete sites. Will stay again.

Stayed three nights (Sat through Mon) in a Class A towing. This is a very nice CG. Just totally re-done and re-opened this year. It was very quiet. The pull through sites are plenty long enough for pretty much any RV combination. I will be staying here again.

If You Don't Want To Worry about Trees.
All sites are reservation only. Large level pads full hookups. Back in and pull through. Lots of space between sites. Not a tree anywhere in the camping area. There is a camp host but this is self serve. Make a reservation online and you get the gate code in your reservation confirmation. Huge playground and beach within walking distance. I think you have to pay to use the beach? Not real busy during the week but packed and loud on the weekends. Great bike trails including access to the Mopac.
