Adding To The Excellent Reviews!!
After reading the reviews, we decided to stay here over night. And what a joy! We were 1 of 2 campers on JUlY…. That $25 sure went a long way. Power but no water hook up for us though it was available on some sites. We were right next to the lake. Peaceful, serene and easy highway access. Will stay again

Peaceful Place
Stopped for one night. Very clean, well maintained and convenient off of I 70. Electric only. Fill up with water on the way in. Good night's rest.

Very nice and clean campground, but when we came in the entrance and saw the giant flags,Trump and rebel flags, we almost left! This is not a good business practice to alienate potential customers, we are from Tennessee and never saw that in our TN campgrounds!

We were looking for a overnight camp, close to I70....this is close, but not directly on so very convenient. Lovely park, lots of big shade trees, lengthy sites and there is water access (fill up tank before you unhook). Showers and toilet house, clean and stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Hidden Gem
This RV camp is situated far enough away from interstate that they is no road noise but still within quick access. Beautiful area, nestled within trees and fields. I will definitely put this park in my favorites.

Great Campsight
We loved our stop at Spring Creek Campground passing through on I-70. Super convenient and so peaceful. We think Site #8 is the best. Level and backs up to small lake. Cash or check only and you call for reservations. Bob answers quickly though or returns your call.

Superb
Super clean, very cheap but everything you need for a good nights rest. You could spend the night or you could make a summer vacation out of this place. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place to park it this is your campground.

Overnight Stay -- Peaceful Enjoyable
Husband and I picked this place after reading the reviews when traveling from KC to Indy. Beautiful, quiet, clean, well kept little campground. Host was super pleasant on the phone and once we arrived on site. Everything is close but if you come during the week you get a prime spot by the cute little lake. We are only staying one night but will for sure stay here again if we come back this way again!

Campground has easy access to freeway and clean! Gentleman who greeted us was kind and pleasant! First time backing up r trailer into a camp site.. He was patient and very helpful. Offerd to back it for me...but that would be cheating. 15 min. Later he was was still standing in the cold patiently! Awesome experience! Thanks.

My husband and I have been traveling for a month now, promoting the book "Bricks underneath a Hoop Skirt," so we are doing lots of RV camping. This was the best place so far! Well-maintained with nice bath house, playground, and private fishing pond. I only wish we'd had time for a few more nights.

Perfect Overnight Campground
Super easy access off I-70. But, just far enough to avoid highway noise. We'll laid out and we'll maintained park.
Can't beat the price at $20, but no credit cards accepted here. No frills campground Friendly hosts will welcome you.
30a service, water hook-ups ups at each site. Dump station, dumpster and rest rooms available. Nice picnic grounds and playground. Sites are close together. But, each site had a picnic table & fire ring.
We will stay here again, next time we are passing through Illinois on I-70.

Nice Overnight
Everything previously wrote is correct except for the bad one. It is a decent park with decent facilities but only 30 and some 50 amp at the sites. No water or sewer. Dump station and water is available to fill or empty tanks. Nice small lake etc. Sites at somewhat unlevel but I'd stay again. 1 mile off I-70

Great, Clean Campground
Was looking for an overnight campground near I70 east of Effingham. Found this one and was not disappointed at all.
It is a nice clean campground with a very nice lake and level back in sites. 30 amp Electric only sites with water available to fill the tank. Clean shower house and a dump station. All a person needs for the overnight stay.

Cute, Nice, Clean
We just stayed quickly overnight in late November. Water was turned off but that was expected due to temperatures. Really cute place and easy to get in late at night. Close to interstate and fuel for getting out on the road again.

Nice Stop
I camped overnight mid week in September while heading west. Only a few spots were taken. This is a clean and well maintained private campground with electrical hookups. There are also tent sites. The restrooms are clean. It was pleasant talking to Bob, the owner, and his little dog. Go a bit further up the road from where the GPS takes you. Turn left, following the signs.
