We're heading east and outrunning rain. Arrived to a friendly welcome, escort to an 'overnight' area, loan of an extension cord because the better spot's electric wasn't optimal. Host brought over a fire ring optimally situated for us, and sold us (too much) firewood. RV parks are scarce in Illinois and this is a good place to stop over.

We stopped for the night. However, when we plugged in the line tester/surge protector there was excessive volts. They were quite resistant to providing a refund.
