Nothing Better

Ignore the bad reviews, the owners and the camp grounds are wonderful. Sites are level, internet is good and it is clean and grass is always cut. If you want to run a clothes line please go somewhere else. I camp here at least once a month and never ever had or seen a problem!

Stayed Two Nights

My wife found this on our way to Chicago. We were to stay one night stayed two. Nice park nice owners. Will stay again. We stayed in late March.

Unpleasant Stay

We were told we would be in M4, which is their best site. Instead they put us in site 15 and it is narrow. Should have just left then, but we decided to stay. Big mistake, first day we were told our site was looking trashy because we left our empty totes under our camper and forgot about an empty box, the box was our fault. Next complaint was our empty gas cans under our slide. We left them outside because of we didn’t want the fumes inside, but the staff said we have to put them inside. Next day we laid a blanket on picnic table and was told that we can not put anything on picnic table. This was all in the first 24 hours. Monday we did laundry in their facility but all the dryers were taken, so we hung a few items on our camper and on picnic table, told that’s against their rules. Wrote a review on Wednesday on TripAdvisor and on Thursday morning they came pounding on our door to evict us, saying our dog attacked a Yorkie. Complete lie. Rude and mean staff and owner. Avoid this place!

Horrible experience overcharged 130 they called a deposit when it was time to go they had a emergency owner is crazy it looks nice and is clean but be careful

Rambling Randy

Easy access, very nice sites. Very level. Couldn't believe the bubble on my level was perfect. First time on a gravel site that level. Wifi fantastic. Talked to the owner. Customer care here is outstanding. She asked me if there were any problems. None, no problems at all. Oh, the dog park, outstanding. Landscape great. I'll be back.

Nice Campground

Easy access to I55 and Historic Route 66. Very clean and well maintained. Very friendly owners. Level sites on gravel. Quiet, other than the traffic from I-55, but not that bad. Owners have plans to expand and rename the campground. Will stay here again if/when we come through the area. Would be a nice campground for visiting St. Louis.

Great Experience! Great People

We read the reviews and thought this might be a good place to stop on our way back from Illinois to Missouri. We would definitely make this one of our stop over places for the future. Bridget and Chris are super helpful and friendly and you can tell they truly care about people and their Park. Our dogs were very happy in the dog yard it was well thought out big and clean. this is one of those places I hesitated in writing a review because it's so good I just didn't want to share. But being a true camper I knew I needed to! Make this one of your next stops it's well worth the trip!

Great place! Stopped for Propane

We were looking to fill our propane tank and stopped. Easy off the exit- Super cute -super clean office - great staff! Definitely will stay when back in the area. Chris & Bridget were so helpful. Thank you!

Perfect First STOP

Great stay. Easy on and off freeway. Level and well maintained sites. Bathrooms were so nicely decorated and spotless.Great Showers...nice and hot with good water pressure! Pride in ownership here at Kamper Kompanion! We will be back.

Very nice couple who are continuing to work on the park, dog park is a great help. Level gravel pads in great condition. Easy on easy off interstate 55

Perfect

No pool, no cable, but I got many stations with my antenna from St. Louis. Super clean, great people that run it. A great place to stop over for a day or two. Remodeled bathrooms. Very small but plenty of room between campers.

Great Stopover

This little gem was very convenient to get to and so clean! The hosts are friendly and really take pride in their campground. Bathrooms/showers were spotless and decorated so nicely. There is a great dog area and lots of little sitting areas around the park. AAA discount made our stay $41 for the night (other discounts available, too)

Perfect Little Stopover

Stopped here for the night. Great little spot... very clean, sites were level with full hookup and more spacious than most overnight places we’ve been to. Owner’s very nice and helpful. They sell wood, ice and propane as well as some snacks. I would stop here again if in this area.

Customer Service

Cindy runs the place and you can tell customer service is her thing. Came around on golf cart a couple times (but not invasively) to make sure everything is ok. Clean bathrooms/showers, laundry. Some longtime guests and Cindy makes sure she knows who people are. Even warned me I'd get a neighbor pulling in late... very clean, nice enclosed off leash dog park, some road noise, but quiet and respectful neighbors. Was encouraged to call 24/7 if I needed anything. Would stay again and recommend.

We camped here on our way back to Va. From Ariz. the lady who owns the park her name escapes me now was very naive and the campground was very clean.

Perfect Stop

We've stopped here several times in the fall on our way south . A perfect distance for our first day on the road. We always have a pleasant greeting and enjoy the stop

Wonderful

I'm new to the rv travel, but this was one of the best stops so far! Clean and very welcoming. I seriously can't think of anything that would improve this great park! Thanks Cindy!
