A Little Confusing But Nice

When we first got to the campground there weren’t really any indications of what to do to obtain a spot. We found the “office” but no one was there and there was a number to call. We didn’t have service, so we couldn’t call it. We ended up just approaching another couple who were camping and asked what we should do. They told us to just park in an available spot and the ranger would come around and collect later that evening. We took the only spot that didn’t have a reserved slip on it. Later the ranger came by and collected. Nice fellow. Works two jobs apparently so that’s why he has is set up the way it is. Showers are nice and hot, and decently clean. (Just old I think). All in all it’s a nice place to camp.

Very Nice, Quiet Campground

Camped here for 3 days, very quiet with only a few campers in the campground. Lots of local campers with nobody there! Site 26 worked perfect for us as it's very close to the rest rooms and showers and close to lake which was just a short trip away.

Rainy Weekend

Came out on friday April 28th to April 30th. Full 8 inches of rain this weekend. Made some nice steaks for dinner while in the camper. A fella by the name Vince? "cowboy hat" gave me a hand backing in site 42 at 8pm and was a huge help with rain and darkness was a bit tense. Been a good weekend never the less. Love the lake and fishing. Will definatly go back and great people and kid friendly. Thank you Dave and Lisa by the way. That meant alot to use and we certainly needed to get away from work.
