Walkabout RV park Bainbridge, GA

Go here. Folks are nice. Place is clean and easy to get in. Some longer term campers everyone we met is friendly. There is a petting zoo with goats, chickens, two pigs, and Hulk the Shetland pony. Goats gave birth to twins this morning and office called us because they knew our girls were excited about it. Very cool! Good cell service. About 20 min to beach. 50 min from Jekyll Island. Lots to do nearby. Will be back

This is a very nice, clean park. Streets are gravel but well maintained. Bathrooms, laundry are clean and in good shape. The sites are level with grass on the sides. There is a common area for a fire at night with the residents gathering for fellowship and music. Very good atmosphere. Enjoyed my stay and will stop again when in the area.

Super easy off I-95, nice pool, very kind in office, easily extended our stay and BEST rates with Passport America! Definitely would stay again.

Excellent Stay

Had planned a one night stopover on our way south but escaping snow in NY we came in 3 days early. No problems extending our stay. Late arrival was no issue. Great office staff and owners. Laundry and bathhouse new and kept very clean. Older sites are a bit tight but OK short term. Last spring we spent 2 weeks in the newer section by the highway and it was better. Walkabout is a convenient overnight stop off I-95 and great for an extended stay as well.

Nice Stop Over

My husband and I stopped at this campground July 8, 2015 on our cross country trip. The campground was very small and the sites were very tight, especially for big rigs. The owner was very friendly and the facilities were clean. The pool was also very inviting. We are members of Coast to Coast so the rate was EXTREMELY REASONABLE.
