Beautiful park with a canopy of huge Live Oaks in most places. The beach campground has few trees. All sites are closer than we like, but that’s what you get in beach areas. All staff is friendly and the camp is very clean.

Stickers

Beautiful, well priced campground. Florida residents over 65 get half off. Our dogs had a tough time with getting stickers in thier paws.

Hot afternoon but breezey

Second visit. Didn't realize how hot the setting sun gets even with strong breezes. Nice bath house with no A.C.

Nice campground, clean facilities, sites level and close together. Gotta book early. Bike trail was good aside from the view and smell of the waste management plant across the marsh. Didn't affect the campground though. Also saw a nuclear sub coming into port from the beach. Bugs were a bit annoying but overall a pretty, pleasant, quiet place to camp.

Beautiful beach, nice and clean campground, quiet, miles of bike trails, historic site - one of the best campgrounds I have stayed at in awhile. Definitely worth staying.

Beautiful location and clean bathrooms. Just not much privacy and sad dogs aren’t allowed on the beach.

Stay And Relax

Nice state park. Perfect to relax with nature or stay on the beach. Amenities we used were perfect. There are 2 parts of the campground- 1 is on the beach-Atlantic beach. 2- is close to Amelia river which is wooded area close to fort clinch. Fort clinch is a pretty cool historic site to spend a few hours walking around.
