Great RV Park - Awesome Star Viewing
This small park is right opposite the entrance to Okefenokee Wildlife entrance. Great area to explore, hike, fish, etc. Meticulously maintained park with a dog park, small pond with hummingbird/butterfly garden. Best part: it’s a dark sky park. Has a star gazing field. But even at your camp site the sky is a Multi million dollar view!

The park was nice, great tent sites, everything is pretty nice, only had one problem, because I had a 30ft. Class A, they put me in homestead alley, which means I had to look at crappy campers in front and back, but the lady explained why, the spot I booked was for a small campers, which is my bad, but everyone was nice and curious. I'll call next time.

Very Unfriendly
Husband and I were in the area and drove through to scout out possible future camping sites for our 40' class A. The lady in the office stood in the window and when we waved to her she gave a hateful look. I immediately called to explain that we were looking to see if this would be somewhere we would want to stay. The man on the phone was not very nice either. Needless to say we'll not be camping here anytime soon, not just because of the office staff but because the park looks to be mostly full time residents. Now I see why they don't want you to check their park out before booking.

This is a great location for Okefenokee Swamp as well as St Mary’s/Cumberland Island. Super clean bathrooms, very nice owners. Enjoyed the Dark Sky aspect - amazing stars.

This could be a delightful place to visit. It is immediately across from the entrance to the Okefenokee Swamp, the grass and wooded sites are level and they have full hookups, tent sites and cabins. But, the owners apparently do nothing to control the hundreds, no millions, of flies that drove is into our motorhome! This is not an exaggeration!

Feels Like Home
I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH AMAZING THINGS ABOUT THIS PHENOMENAL PLACE!!! Looking to stay while visiting the Okefenokee? STAY HERE!! EXTREMELY reasonable rates, amenities MORE than sufficient... restrooms OMG clean, office/store has everything you need in a pinch, great little grocery store within 7 miles for extras, the owners/staff are SOOOOO WONDERFUL!! A lot of our time, while actually at the park, was spent talking with them!! When we checked in, they had a little sweet snack for us, and also had gotten our firepit stocked with brush/timber to get us started!! Spacious sites, a kennel for your furbabies, GREAT recommendations and advice on nearby attractions, food, etc. The stargazing field was SOOOOO AWESOME!! I want to personally say THANK YOU, AGAIN, to Okefenokee Pastimes for making our stay SO welcoming and wonderful!! Because of our stay, we plan to go back, at LEAST 2-3 times a year!!

Attitude
My wife and I drove from Jacksonville to check out the camp ground to see if we wanted to make some reservations. Unfortunately the lady in the office would not let us do a 1 minute ride through. She also had a nasty attitude. Needless to say I want be staying at this place.

I really like this place
My wife and I have stayed here several times on trips to and from FLA. We have enjoyed the pleasant people who own as well as work here. It is right across the road from The Okeefenokee swamp park entrance. The camp ground has star watches on clear nights. It is a certified dark zone. I would recommend this campground as a very good place to stop and stay.

Nice Rv Park
Nice rv oark near the east entrance if okefenokee wildlife refuge. The park is in good condition, has a bathhouse, wifi, and full hook ups. They have individual dog kennels with ac, dog run, pond with huge catfish, horse shoes, corn hole, small store with basics. Overall a nice stay. We would stay here again

Can’t Beat The Location And The Park
Awesome park! Super convenient to the Okefenokee NWR. Super nice folks. We stayed in a cabin which was cute and comfy. Hope to get back this way again and will definitely stay again. The park is clean and well maintained. The bathhouse is nice and clean. The owners can tell you all about the swamp and be sure to check out their telescopes!

Loved It!
Stopped for overnight because spent day at Okefenokee National Park across the road from it. Will be back for longer stay just to relax. Spotless well maintained site with friendly helpful experienced RVers as owners who are continuously improving campground. Excellent wifi. Small store that had everything I had forgotten! Remodelled immaculate showers and restrooms. Kennels for your dog if you want to spend day at park. Tent sites are separate and have privacy. Grass sites but level hard packed sandy soil that doesn't get muddy. The night we were there they set up telescopes for stargazing. Evidently it's one of the better places in the country for that.

Great Find
Full hook ups, rv sites are all pull thru and fairly level. No cable but WiFi was fast. Right across the street from Okefenokee swamp. Friendly camp host. Bathrooms were kept clean. Small property but had little trails that made it feel larger. Camper in a 35 ft fifth wheel.
