Stayed 2 nights in cite 23. Quiet, peaceful nights. Shower was good. Owners were personable and helpful when we arrived. Spent 2 days exploring the swamp by boat tour and kayak.

Convenient To The Okeefeenokee NWR/Swamp
We have stayed here a few times. Just a few miles from Folkston, GA, it is a quiet and clean campground. It’s convenient to the Okeefeenokee National Wildlife Refuge and swamp. The road-side sites are full-hookup, level, but are just dirt and grass.
These F/H sites are scheduled to be redone soon and they will all have 30 & 50 amp service. The sites would be pretty tight if the cg was full, but we’ve never experienced more than 8-10 other campers, so we’ve never felt crowded.
Adam Bell, the campground host, is very laid back and helpful.
There are no fire rings or picnic tables at the sites. We were able to pull in about 24 over the air TV stations, but we only had about 1 bar of cell service.
There is a boat/canoe ramp on the St Mary River maybe a quarter mile from the cg entrance. There’s also a little store within the cg, but I don’t think it is open in the winter.
There are some beautiful large live oaks in group pavilion area.
