Had a nice 3 day stay at Stephen C Foster State Park. Campsites were private. It rained every day and night during our stay, so we missed out on the night time stargazing. Campsites were in good condition. Looks like the bathhouses were brand new, unisex, bathroom/shower room. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed the guided tour with Park Biologists Josh. Good stay even with the rain. No cell service. Make sure you bring what you need, Fargo is about a 30 minute trip away. Very dark and quiet at night.

Nice Campground
Nice campground but can't imagine what the bugs would be like in the summer, mosquitos were bad enough in early April. Beautiful area but really is the middle of nowhere. We kayaked twice with lots to see. Campground isn't the best kept one we've been to but good enough.

Middle Of Nowhere Quiet
If you like quite this is your place. Make sure you are prepared with food and everything you need because you are out in the middle of nowhere. We enjoyed our stay. We saw turkey, alligator, and deer. Have fun!

Fall Fun
Stayed Oct 2017 for 2 nights. Quiet campground with scrubby greenery between sites. Yes there are mosquitos... it is a Swamp! Great star gazing and paddling. Did not use the bathhouse. Plenty of room for us in our little 17 foot trailer. There were some big rigs there too. Off the beaten path for sure but worth it. Make sure to have supplies before you head out.
