I have stayed in RV resorts, campgrounds and even wilderness camped.
This is a Trailer park!!!
When out of town construction workers start their loud trucks at 6:00 am. to go to work, or when my chain smoking neighbors who are one social security check from homelessness, living in a camper that hasn’t moved since the Reagan years, this is a trailer park. In the center of the
“Resort” is the largest open cesspool I have ever seen!! You can see it on Google Earth!
A few overnight spots but from where I was put, this is a trailer park. When the toothless Okies get home and head straight into the pool, only in Florida.

Good sized park with nice amenities including a pool, clubhouse, outdoor games and a huge dog park.
Manager and staff were nice and helpful.
Lots of full timers so it's a mixed bag of people who keep up their sites and some that obviously do not.
Location is easy access to I75 and most Tampa offerings.
Price paid was fair for the season.

Expensive For Overnight
Security guard present for late check-in, and we were escorted to our site. Sites packed closely but a table on a concrete pad at each site. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Quiet and convenient to the highway.
The only down side was having to listen to the guard’s political opinion—really unnecessary to feed my stereotype of old southern white men!

This is a really nice place. Very close to Busch Gardens which my wife and I frequent. Staff are awesome and the new concrete patios are very nice. Close to a lot of parks and places to kayak. We plan on spending a lot of weekends here!

Our stay was peaceful and quiet, everyone seems very nice. Was a little discouraged that pool was closed but park was bought by someone new and they were busy making improvements. Big top fleamarket right across street, and half mile from interstate. Would stay again when passing through.

Happy Traveler is a GREAT stop. It is conveniently located off I-75 at Fowler, south east side. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great price, we stayed off and on while visiting Moffit, which is very close. Plenty of shopping options and things to do. Three buildings with coin operated washing machines, two contain bathhouses, located throughout park. Many shaded spots with well groomed trees, no worries getting in. Streets are approximately 8', so no trouble getting my 33' Bounder into her spot. Gated front with roving security.

The staff is very friendly. Getting into the campground is easy both concerning space and location as it is right off the major highway and has plenty of room in front of the office for multiple rigs checking in at once. There is a security guard posted at the entrance throughout the evening. Sites are shaded. They are dirt and grass spots. It is a good Sam campground. There is a grocery store within biking distance. Propane on site. A small laundry room and small pool. We have stayed here multiple times and have always had a good experience.
