Confederate Flag

To the one who complained about allowing the confederate flag displayed apparently by a guest or guests, within their own paid lot with universal American money. We have American families who served in the Union army and Confederate armies. And that was many moons ago. There were many, many families whose soldiers served in the Union army, having relatives such as brothers serving in the Confederate army. Both north and south, having the same blood in their veins, fought each other based on their convictions and beliefs. There are many Union flags and Confederate flags alongside each other placed on porches, mantles, in homes displayed and folded next to old faded photos of brothers dressed in different uniforms. If you who ever you are, do not have that special essence running through your veins, complaining about Bay Bayou allowing the displayed Confederate flag you cannot call yourself an American!! That you have to earn!!

Really Nice

No pull through’s, bath houses were far away. Pool was hot and no jacuzzi. Other than that, plenty of shade, very nice staff. The staff helped with anything I asked. Very convenient to local attractions. Will go back one day.

Great Park - Great Experience!

The park was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bath houses were clean? This was the first time I used a public laundry in 40 years. The washers and dryers were clean. Requiring $3 in quarters was a shock but luckily the front desk had $10 quarter rolls. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, the internet sucked. It was virtually unusable. I had to use my hot spot in order to get critical work done.

Beautiful Park

This is a really beautiful park. Very well maintained. Cable comes with a ton of channels including HBO. Wifi is fair. Fishing availible. New section has angled lots for easy backins but little shade. Old section, lots of shade but lots not angled so a little more difficult to back in. Such a convenient location to visit Tampa. Enjoying my stay

Beautiful, Clean And Great Staff

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The park is very clean and well kept. There is a little highway noise on one side of the park. The camp sites are close together but not as bad as some places. Most of the park has beautiful vegetation and shade provided by trees. It is not like one of the parking lot type campgrounds and very affordable. I would highly recommend.

Clean And Spacious

Stayed here over the weekend of January 17 to 20 as my son was playing in a local hockey tournament. We had a late check in on Friday and was directed to security to get info and spot. The security man was very pleasant and helpful and took us right to our spot. The site was very big, clean and accommodating for us. Next day I went to the office to officially check in and the staff was great. We asked for a late check out on last day due to tournament schedule and they were very understanding and accommodating. I found the bath house to be very clean and in working order. This is a very nice location and we will definitely be staying here again.

Confederate Flags???

This place is nice at first glance but they allow people to display the Confederate flag. It is located next to a busy road which is noisy. There are a lot of people who smoke cigarettes which gets into your RV. The positives are the bath and laundry rooms are clean and it is located near a ton of shopping. The front office is friendly and helpful. The pool is heated and open late.

Discrimination Based On Year Of RV???

So I called to make a monthly reservation and I was told because my travel trailer was not a 2004 and newer we could not stay there. Talk about major discrimination!!! Our 2002 coachman has been garage kept and is in perfect condition not to mention $5000 in upgrades to make it the perfect travel trailer. I would not want any other one than this one. Bogus !!

Bay Bayou greatly exceeded my expectations. The staff is friendly and helpful, other campers are so welcoming and fun, big sites with large live oak trees for shade, clubhouse and pool are very nice and the whole park is true RV’s and not a bunch of permanent residents. We will be back next year!!
