Not Coming Back

We will have to rescind our previous outstanding comment made last year. This is our 4th year coming to this resort and after posting our reservations a year ago, for this year, we are very dissatisfied with this campground. We were given a miserable site that was across the street from the dumper and sewage treatment facility. No concrete pad, just grass along the side of the road with the ground infested with fire ants. On top of this, the sewage treatment plant had a continuous and annoying whining noise, day and night. I went to management to complain and request a new site and was told there were none available and that they were booked solid. I told them we did not like the smell of the treatment plant and the fire ant situation and their response was it will change with the wind direction and there’s ant infestation all over the resort. Since being here now for 4 days, we notices a handful of empty sites of which we could be placed in but they have not made them available to us

Excellent and well maintained RV Park with lots of activities nearby and close enough to Orlando theme parks.

Very Nice Campground

A nice campground with large concrete pads. Some site are not perfectly level, but easily rectified. Hook ups are great. Wifi is non-existent. Beautiful lake with direct access. Centrally located to Orlando or Villages. About 35 minutes to either. Gym was not great and bathrooms were far. Staff was awesome, as was laundry facility and clubhouse. Will definitely recommend staying here.

Just Ok.

Pros: The spaces are nice. Paved and plenty of room. It's generally nice as long as you don't care about the amenities which aren't that great. Cons: Customer service is poor. Cleaning lady is not nice. Gets mad if you make her do actual work. God forbid you use the pool showers cause you make them wet. SMH... Overall: if you keep your expectations low and just there to have a place to hang out and not be bothered you'll be fine. Prices are a little on the high side for parking on a slab with little to no shade.

Dirty bath rooms with bugs ( just nasty) the pool was in disrepair. The Jim was moldy with no AC.

Any Port In A Storm

We made reservations late, not realizing it was spring break. This was the only place near Mt Dora. They stuck us in an big open area. The nicer spots are down near the canal that leads to the lake. Very few trees in our area. The sites are ok. The bathrooms are not very clean nor close. Can't say I'll be in any rush to return.
