Great County Park
We stayed here to finish preparing for our year out on the road. We still had some things to tie up in town. Most Orlando campgrounds were booked solid. They do not have a reservation system, it is first come. During horse competition weekends, they limit outside campers. It’s $18 a night for Orange County residents. Dump station is at the neighboring Magnolia Park. It was a short drive to dump. It’s pet friendly, which is why we chose it. The staff is super nice. It’s a beautiful campground located near downtown Winter Garden, which is great. The front gate is sometimes locked so ask for the code if going out later than 5pm. There is a nice little cafe nearby in a Publix plaza. Some sites are asphalt and pull-through. We would stay again.

Hidden Gem Near Orlando
Happened across this county park and it's a great cheap find at only $23 out of state a night for water and electric hookups. Great Verizon reception! It's a big horse show location so there are horses and horse barns/rings etc all around. Pretty quiet and friendly staff. First come first serve, no reservations but we had no trouble getting a spot thanksgiving weekend because people overlook the county parks. About 10 large RV pull through spots and then packed gravel and tent spots but some are larger where a smaller rv or trailer could pull into them easily. Super quiet even though lots of people riding horses in the arenas. Really clean and well maintained and close by to Orlando if you want to visit Disney, Epcot etc. I think it has a 5-7 day max. Dogs allowed but on leash only which is normal. Bathroom and showers are very clean.
